· Establish the bid plan, milestones and governance checkpoints.
· Ensure compliance with procurement instructions, portal requirements and company policies.
· Identify contract risks and coordinate mitigations with Legal and Commercial.
· Build and chair a cross-functional bid team (Sales, Pre-Sales, Legal, Finance, Marketing, Delivery).
· Create the detailed schedule (activities, owners, dependencies, deadlines), track progress and unblock issues.
· Manage stakeholder communications, cadence calls, and resource bookings throughout the bid.
· Write, edit, and curate high-quality proposal content aligned to evaluation criteria and customer outcomes.
· Own quality control (format, accuracy, completeness) and final proof; ensure bid packs are submission-ready.
· Manage registrations, renewals, and applications for procurement frameworks (e.g., G-Cloud, Crown Commercial Service frameworks, AWS/Azure Marketplaces).
· Maintain portal compliance (company details, certifications, declarations) and oversee call-off agreement documentation.
· Track daily notices and orchestrate timely responses via the bids inbox.
· Run commercial qualification and T&Cs reviews; highlight red flags for Legal sign-off.
· Ensure all submission mechanics are correct (portal uploads, file structures, signatures, deadlines).
· Conduct post-submission follow-ups, clarifications, and presentations if required.
· Manage handover to Delivery/Account teams upon award, including risks, assumptions, and obligations.
· Track pipeline, in-flight bids, wins/losses, and lessons learned; maintain bid statistics and dashboards.
· Run win/loss reviews; feed outcomes into playbooks and training.
· Provide strategic input to improve qualification, content, references and bid tactics over time.
· Build and maintain a reusable content library (case studies, social value statements, project management, policies).
Applicant Profile
Essential:
· 3–5+ years’ experience in bid/tender/proposal management within complex solutions, technology, consulting or professional services.
· Proven track record leading multi-stakeholder bids to submission and award.
