What you’ll do:
We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to support our HR function providing maternity cover within a busy and supportive team. You’ll play a central role in supporting managers and employees while ensuring people practices remain consistent, compliant, and aligned with the organisation’s values. This role will suit an experienced HR generalist who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working closely with managers to deliver practical, business-focused HR advice. Reporting to our HR Business Partner, you will work across the full employee lifecycle, acting as a trusted advisor to managers across the business. The role has a strong advisory and problem-solving focus and will appeal to someone comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment.
Collaborating and supporting HR initiatives such as employee development, talent management, and succession planning in alignment with business strategy, focusing on ED&I, and workplace culture.
Supporting management with ER cases – OH, Performance related, Absences/Lateness, Conduct issues, Wellbeing, Family Leave.
Developing and implementing HR processes and policies
Providing guidance on legislative, regulatory, and compliance issues to ensure consistent policy application in line with GDPR.
Providing administrative support for the employee lifecycle, including contract creation, document management and company onboarding.
Assisting with policy-related queries and providing HR guidance based on employment law.
Updating HR policies in line with company and statutory changes. Such as Family Leave Policy, aligning with employment legislation.
Assisting in the deployment of compensation and benefits strategies, including data collection and analysis.
Coordinating Occupational Health activities, including appointments and referrals.
Performing ad-hoc administrative duties and support HR data analysis.

Confident in managing a wide range of employee relations matters from start to finish.

Resilient, proactive, and able to think ahead when planning and problem-solving.
Known for integrity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
Highly organised with strong time management and prioritisation skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualified or working towards or an equivalent HR qualification.
